TVFS delivers behavioral health services across several local facilities. Like any provider caring for vulnerable patients, it needed tight control over who enters the building and a reliable way to keep patients and staff safe — without a system that’s a burden to run. Fortify upgraded each location to Verkada.
THE CHALLENGE
TVFS was working with outdated cameras and weak access control, and had no easy way to monitor its sites remotely. Doors weren’t truly controlled, visibility was limited, and the disconnected setup made day-to-day management harder than it needed to be — a concern for both patient safety and compliance.

SFVCMHC provides community mental and behavioral health services across more than five local facilities. With vulnerable patients and sensitive records on site, safety and controlled access aren’t nice-to-haves — they’re fundamental to how the organization operates. THE CHALLENGE
SFVCMHC was operating on aging, failing cameras with real blind spots, and had little meaningful control over who moved through their doors. Each site functioned as its own island, with no way to see or manage security across the network from one place — and a previous vendor had left them under-served. In a behavioral health setting, that combination put patient safety, staff safety, and compliance all at risk.
THE FORTIFY SOLUTION
We designed a single, cloud-managed Verkada environment spanning all facilities, tightly integrating video with access control so every entry and exit through sensitive doors is captured and logged on video. The result is a genuinely controlled, safe environment: administrators can review a visual log of exactly who came and went, and when. We added panic buttons throughout the facilities — in every room — so staff can instantly alert administration to distress in any area. The upgraded system also brought SFVCMHC into HIPAA compliance.

Neros Tech is a defense manufacturer and military contractor operating across several facilities. As a contractor handling controlled technical data, Neros doesn’t just want strong security — it is required by federal regulation to prove it. Fortify upgraded their facilities to Verkada with compliance as the north star.
THE CHALLENGE
Neros came to us with camera blind spots, exposure to theft and loss, weak access control, and no visitor management — and, critically, a security posture that did not meet ITAR and CMMC requirements. As a military contractor, they needed high-level authentication for everyone entering and leaving, full tracking of vehicles on site, and airtight records of every visitor — gaps that carried real compliance and national-security stakes.
THE FORTIFY SOLUTION
We engineered a security environment purpose-built for a controlled defense facility. High-level access authentication governs every staff entry and exit; license plate recognition tracks all vehicles in and out; facial recognition and a formal visitor management sign-in process document every person on site. Together these controls gave Neros the physical-security backbone required to stay ITAR and CMMC compliant — reinforced by Verkada’s FedRAMP authorization, which matters enormously to a federal contractor.

Trek Bicycles

Trek Bicycles moves high-value inventory in and out of its facilities every day. With trucks, drivers, and pallets constantly in motion, the organization needed real accountability over what was entering and leaving — and an alarm system it could actually trust. Fortify upgraded multiple locations to a standardized Verkada platform.
THE CHALLENGE
Trek was dealing with theft and shrinkage, aging cameras with blind spots, weak access control, and an old alarm system that generated constant false alarms — alongside real break-ins. They lacked clear visibility over the trucks coming and going, and had no reliable way to tie a vehicle to a driver to a shipment.
THE FORTIFY SOLUTION
We built a closed-loop system for tracking everything that moves through the facility. License plate recognition at every entrance captures each truck; drivers call in through facial-recognition intercoms, pass through a controlled man-trap vestibule, and sign in via visitor management — so every driver’s details are logged and automatically associated with their vehicle’s plate. The result is complete, auditable visibility over inbound and outbound pallets. To fix the alarm problem, we deployed Verkada video-verified alarms with talk-down speakers: false alarms are eliminated, real break-ins are visually verified, staff can talk down to intruders in real time, and police are dispatched with confidence.
